I wanted to sell kimchi at the markets as an alternative to vegetables pickle, in the end I had to throw away 5 tons of kimchi. “Selling Mr.Kim’s kimchi brand is like marrying a mature daughter to a suitable and appropriate family”. And the second child is usually smarter and brighter that the first one. And our second child turned out to be coffee”, CEO of Kim&Kim owning Mr.Kim’s kimchi brand - Ms.Hanh shared.

“This parting, according to Ms.Nguyen Thi Kim Hanh - CEO of Kim&Kim company that owns Mr.Kim’s kimchi brand, is considered as marriage of a mature daughter into a suitable, appropriate family”, Ms.Kim Hanh shared her thoughts at the BSA center in HCMc city recently.

I hope that more farmers are willing to grow and process Specialty coffee so Western people stop looking down their nose on us. There are approximately 10% of those that choose to switch to Specialty coffee, 20% in the future, for Vietnam that figure is less than 1%, such an absurdity!

The owner of the Yellow Chair is welcoming customers with a smile, her name is Kim Hanh. She is taking them to coffee bar and and says: “You will roast, grind and make your own coffee.”

11 years ago, a young married couple Kim Tae Kon and Nguyen Thi Kim Hanh started their own business by consigning 20 kimchi boxes to the Maximat supermarket on 3/2 street, and now Mr. Kim’s kimchi is available at almost every chain of supermarkets and retailers all over 42 cities and provinces in Vietnam.
